He finished putting up the greenhouse a week ago, and of course I immediately moved all the seedlings out there. It might actually be a little too warm for the cool weather crops, on 70 degree days it can reach almost 90 in there if I forget to open the windows.
Some cool weather seedlings like kohlrabi, spinach, mizuna, tatsoi, leeks, and bulb fennel.
Tomatoes galore got potted up into individual containers and quickly moved into the greenhouse along with peppers.
In the foreground are 3 eggplant seedlings with their spoon shaped true leaves.
And of course the tomatoes are basking in the added warmth.

Our tomato, peppers and aubergine/eggplant seeds were sown today.
I find peppers and eggplants so troublesome to get started. We still have newly germinating seedlings after sowing seeds weeks and weeks ago.
Looking good! Such a great time of year...
Of course, you had me at "greenhouse" - so incredibly lucky you are!
All of your seedlings look wonderful - I'm sure they are very happy in their new home :)
Hi Bill,
It's wonderful to be doing things in the garden after winter. We're having a real spring this year, so I'm really hopefully the tomatoes, peppers, and snap beans do well this year.
Hi Margaret,
I'm so happy with the greenhouse! No more shuffling plants in and out and no more worry with birds and critters. And I haven't seen any flea beetles this year, so it looks like the beneficial nematodes did the trick.
That's a great looking greenhouse! If you are like me, you will wonder how you ever did without one. It does get hot in there though. I run a little fan which help move air around bit, but it still gets hot when the sun is out.
Aw, a fan would definitely help. And it has been amazing not having to worry about critters getting into the seed trays and mucking with the plants.
Your greenhouse looks great Phuong! We have to put shade netting up in ours as it gets so hot otherwise and I worry about leaves scorching
Hi Kathy,
I never even thought of using shade cloth in a greenhouse. Brilliant!
Congrats on your new greenhouse, what a great addition to the garden! You've got so many great looking seedlings and such beautiful soil waiting to receive them.
Hi Michelle,
The greenhouse has been amazing, no more shuffling plants around under the lights or trying to avoid birds outside. I'm really itching to start planting but it keeps raining, hopefully the soil will dry out soon.
