And of course stuffed zucchini and zucchini bread. If only my zucchini germinated, I've never actually gone without zucchini in the garden before.Phuonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07658691564062044986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2806765669512996094.post-64228071120482709232015-07-07T12:59:40.586-07:002015-07-07T12:59:40.586-07:00I love that custard squash. If I can find some fresh honey pineapple on sale I'm going to stir fry some cucumbers with it, so good.

The ruffled edge and color of the custard squash is really pretty. It's actually still a small plant so I was surprised to find that big squash on it, there's now a couple more little babies just starting to form on it.Phuonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07658691564062044986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2806765669512996094.post-89412986661566250402015-07-06T15:50:37.350-07:002015-07-06T15:50:37.350-07:00Hi David,

The eating quality of the patty pan squash is just wonderful, they were fantastic in a pork stir-fry.

The plants are still kind of young, they haven't even branched yet so there haven't been tons of fruit. If they end up being prolific, I probably won't grow Yellow Crookneck anymore.Phuonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07658691564062044986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2806765669512996094.post-40276952350691017362015-07-06T15:39:27.327-07:002015-07-06T15:39:27.327-07:00That custard squash is gorgeous! My cucumbers have just started to go up the trellis (I'm so behind this year!) but I already see some babies forming, so hopefully I won't be waiting too long.Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15949946977793864054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2806765669512996094.post-37348024418057581682015-07-06T15:28:04.161-07:002015-07-06T15:28:04.161-07:00Hi Garden Variety,

The Bennings Green Tint started producing at the same time as the hybrid Zephyr so they're both fairly early at 48 days from seeding in the garden.Phuonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07658691564062044986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2806765669512996094.post-76896327127895282772015-07-06T14:38:21.439-07:002015-07-06T14:38:21.439-07:00Very nice, your garden harvests are getting really...Very nice, your garden harvests are getting really interesting.
